The painting’s golden ochre and deep brown-black tones evoke the meeting of two inner worlds. The left side is lighter and more open, almost bathed in light. It represents searching, questioning, and the space of being on a journey. The right side is darker, more layered, and heavier, carrying the depths of self-knowledge, inner stillness, and transformation.
The abstract forms and gestures do not depict concrete figures. Instead, they convey emotions, inner dialogue, recognition, and that moment when a person comes face to face with themselves. The painting does not provide answers. It asks a question: Who are you?
This artwork, on November 9, 2021, at the Xpat Charity Party organized by Xpatloop, was auctioned, with the entire proceeds supporting children’s charities in Hungary.
The piece is the imprint of an inner decision. It captures the moment when the path no longer leads outward, but inward, and when identity is born from the question itself.
